Representing Sri Lanka in the 25th edition of Miss Earth is Adithya Dewmini. She is the 14th beauty queen to represent the country in the international beauty pageant based in the Philippines.

Sri Lanka has yet to place in Miss Earth. The country was represented in the competition by Poojani Wakirigala in 2011, Chaturika Ariyawansha in 2012, Solange Kristina Gunawijeya in 2013, Imaya Liyanage in 2014, Visna Fernando in 2015, Dimanthi Edirirathna in 2016, Shyama Dahanayaka in 2017, Nathasha Fernando in 2018, Romane Alvies in 2020, Diandra Soysa in 2021, Udani Nethmi Senanayake in 2022, Viyana Pietersz in 2023 and Hasani Kawya in 2024.

Adithya Dewmini

Dewmini hails from Colombo, Sri Lanka. She attended School Development Societies (SDS) Kolonnawa Balika Vidyalaya in Kolonnawa, Colombo.

In 2024, Dewmini modeled for several brands including Aesthetic by Sha, Iqra Bridals and Shein Sri Lanka. She turned 22 on November 22, 2024.

From November 29, 2024 to May 1, 2025, Dewmini worked at Startek Sri Lanka in Wattala, Sri Lanka. On December 9, 2024, she joined HCLTech Sri Lanka in Colombo.

Miss Earth 2025

On September 28, 2025, Dewmini won Miss Earth Sri Lanka 2025 at the Aarya Grand Hotel and Banquets in Batuwatta, Gampaha District, Sri Lanka. She competed against nine other candidates.

Aside from winning the title, Dewmini also won the Miss Photogenic, Best in Evening Wear, Best Skin and Best Figure awards. Also crowned were Miss Earth Sri Lanka – Air 2025 Bihara Perera, Miss Earth Sri Lanka – Water 2025 Shanoli Yolanda and Miss Earth Sri Lanka – Fire 2025 Sashini Dulanjalee.

On November 5, 2025, Dewmini will represent Sri Lanka at Miss Earth 2025 at the Okada Manila in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines. She will compete against more than 70 other candidates including Kimlan Sara, 24, of Cambodia, Komal Choudhary, 25, of India, Aline Ghanem, 26, of Lebanon, Evangeline Chen, 23, of Macau, China, Khin Khin Hlaing, 19, of Myanmar, Sony Ghale, 26, of Nepal, Syeda Dua-e-Khadija, 22, of Pakistan, Joy Barcoma, 25, of the Philippines, Waree Ngamkham, 26, of Thailand and Mỹ Anh Trịnh, 21, Vietnam.
