Juul Missiaen, the reigning Man of the World 2025, is back in the Philippines. He is set to crown his successor in the country.

On May 31, 2025, Missiaen represented Spain at Man of the World 2025 and competed against 26 other candidates at the SM Skydome in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. He won the title.

Runner-up to Missiaen was Israel Sierra of Mexico. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Sittichok Panitloedtewa of Thailand, Honza Jiránek of the Czech Republic and Sworman Delgado of Panama.

Man of the World 2026

On May 30, 2026, Missiaen attended the Man of the World 2026 national costume competition at the Palacio de Maynila in Malate, Manila, Metro Manila. Also present was Prime Events Productions Philippines Foundation Inc. (PEPPS) president Carlo Morris Galang.

During the event, two special awards were given. Thanongsak Chuaykerd of Thailand won in the Best in Arrival Outfit category while Denny Howman of Indonesia and Fidel Arellano of Chile were the silver and bronze winners, respectively.

Representing the host country, Oliver Eugen Kretz won gold in the Media’s Choice Category. Arellano and Afiq Naufal of Malaysia were the silver and bronze winners, respectively.

Following the national costume competition, an auction was held where the candidates each sold an item brought from their home countries or territories. Representing Spain, Ivan Songel Gutierrez auctioned off a crown, which Missiaen purchased for 7,000 pesos.

Including Chuaykerd, Howman, Arellano, Kretz, Naufal and Gutierrez, 28 men are competing for the Man of the World 2026 title. The coronation ceremony will be held at the Palacio de Maynila in Malate on June 6, 2026.

Originally from Pampanga, Philippines, Christian Emmanuel Flores represents the Asian community of Saudi Arabia. Also competing for the title are Abel Adrian Diaz of Ecuador and Fransel Meyers of the Netherlands.

In 2022, Meyers represented the Netherlands in Mister Global and Mister Supranational. Diaz represented Ecuador at Mister Grand International 2017 and Mister International 2024.
