Istanbul’s Ceren Arslan is Miss Universe Turkiye 2025

Ceren Arslan, 26, of Istanbul, Turkiye will participate in the 74th edition of Miss Universe. She is a professional model who attended Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkiye.

The country was represented in Miss Universe by Miss Turkey from 1952 to 2022. The country currently has three placements in the international beauty pageant, which are the Top 16 finish of Ayten Akyol in 1953, the Top 10 finish of Jülide Ateş in 1990 and the Top 16 finish of Çağıl Özge Özkul in 2012.

Özcan Sandıkçıoğlu was the country’s Miss Universe national director from 1952 to 1979. The franchise was held by Can Sandikcioglu from 1980 to 2022.

In 2024, Miss Universe Turkiye started under the directorship of Shakir Sela. Also from Istanbul, Ayliz Duman became Turkiye’s Miss Universe 2024 representative.

Arslan is an alumna of Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkiye. She is Cengiz Arslan and Tulay Arslan‘s daughter.

In April 2022, Ceren traveled to Agios Epiktitos, Cyprus. In July 2022, she graduated from Hacettepe University.

In August 2022, Ceren walked the runway at the Africa Fashion Week Europe (AFWEU) 2022 in Cappadocia, Turkiye. She traveled to Belgrade, Serbia in January 2023, Dubai, United Arab Emirates in January 2024 and Manchester, England, United Kingdom in February 2025.

The Miss Universe Turkiye 2025 journey started on March 1, 2025 when applications were opened. The deadline was on June 30, 2025.

Ceren was one of the applicants who were invited to attend the in-person casting on October 3, 2025. In the end, she was selected as the next Miss Universe Turkiye.

On November 21, 2025, Ceren will represent Turkiye at Miss Universe 2025 at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand. She will compete against more than 120 other candidates including Zoulahatou Amadou, 23, of Niger, Catalina Jacob, 28, of Romania and Mariam Mohamed, 24, of the UAE.
