Houston, Texas’s Mary Sickler is Miss World America 2026

From being the runner-up, Mary Sickler, 23, is now the new Miss World America 2026. She will represent the United States in the 73rd edition of Miss World.

Mary Sickler

Originally from Houston, Texas, USA, Sickler is senior student of Will Rice College in Houston where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in health sciences. She has lived in other U.S. states including Nebraska, Nevada and New York.

On June 22, 2024, Sickler represented Houston at Miss Texas USA 2024 and competed against 74 other candidates at the Hilton Houston Post Oak Hotel in Houston. She was second runner-up to Aarieanna Ware.

On May 3, 2025, Sickler competed against 61 other Miss Texas USA 2025 candidates at the Hilton Houston Post Oak Hotel. She was runner-up to Taylor Davis.

On July 27, 2025, Sickler competed against 20 other Miss Nevada USA 2025 candidates at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. She won the title.

On October 24, 2025, Sickler represented Nevada at Miss USA 2025 and competed against 50 other candidates at the Grand Sierra Resort in Reno, Nevada. She was fourth runner-up to Audrey Eckert of Nebraska.

Miss World America 2026

On July 11, 2026, Sickler represented New York at Miss World America 2026 and competed against 13 other candidates in Seattle, Washington, USA. She was runner-up to Jade Lin Glab of Belmar, New Jersey, USA.

The second runner-up was Kimberly Chinomso of Seattle. The respective third, fourth and fifth runners-up were Victoria Kamila Valdez Ortegón of Dallas, Texas, Naima Diamond Oryem of South Portland, Maine, USA and Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain native Veronica Ramirez Ramsay, who represented Connecticut, USA.

On July 22, 2026, Sickler was appointed as the new Miss World America 2026. On the other hand, Glab became Miss World America 2027.

On September 5, 2026, Sickler will represent the U.S. at Miss World 2026 in Nha Trang, Vietnam. She will compete against 110 other candidates including Vanessa Kraljevic, 23, of Bolivia, Andrea Romero, 19, of Colombia, Joheirry Mola, 24, of the Dominican Republic, Adriana Rivas, 23, of El Salvador, Andrea Ortiz, 20, of Guatemala, Cassandra García, 23, of Mexico, Belén Cáceres, 26, of Nicaragua, Madeline Miller, 23, of Panama, Ayelén Pérez, 27, of Paraguay, Josiane Sciotti, 20, of Peru, Suil Pagán, 21, of Puerto Rico, Elisabeth Reynés, 22, of Spain and Mística Nuñez, 24, of Venezuela.

In 2027, Glab will represent the U.S. in the 74th edition of Miss World in Tanzania. Among her fellow candidates are Ash Castro, 19, of Bolivia, Maria Jose Rojas, 21, of Colombia and Nadia Estubier, 26, of Guatemala.
