On September 16, 2023, Dy made his BKB debut at “BKB 34: McCallum vs. Tiffin” at The O2 Arena in London, England, United Kingdom. He defeated George Hillyard of London via technical knockout.

On December 5, 2025, Dy dethroned then BKB Super Welterweight Champion Liam Rees of Swansea, Wales, U.K. via unanimous decision at “BKB 49: Dance of the Dragons” at the Vale Arena in Cardiff, Wales. It was the first bare knuckle boxing loss of the latter.

On April 29, 2026, PenOne Sports held a press conference for Dy at the Manila Yacht Club in Malate, Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines. During the event, the company officially launched PenOne Combat, which is led by the BKB champion.

On May 16, 2026, Dy defended his title from Paul “Magic Man” Malignaggi, 45, of Brooklyn, New York, USA. They headlined “BKB 54: Mayhem In Manchester” at the AO Arena in Manchester, England.

Clive Allison served as the referee in charge. He stopped the title bout after 56 seconds in the second round when Dy knocked out Malignaggi via punch.

This made Dy the first Filipino to successfully defend a bare knuckle boxing world championship title. The win improved his professional bare knuckle boxing record to 6-1.

On the other hand, Malignaggi now has 1 win and 2 losses. After losing to Dy, they were joined by Amir Khan in the ring where they were interviewed by Gareth Davies.
