Helena Hafþórsdóttir O’Connor, 20, of Viðey, Iceland won Ungfru Island 2025. This makes her the Miss Universe 2025 candidate of her country.
This will be the second time O’Connor is representing her country in an international beauty pageant. As Ungfru Island 2023 first runner-up, she was appointed Miss Supranational Iceland 2024.
On July 6, 2024, O’Connor represented Iceland at Miss Supranational 2024 at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland. She competed against 67 other candidates and finished in the Top 25.
Ungfru Island
The Ungfru Island 2025 coronation ceremony was held at the Gamla Bíó in Reykjavik, Iceland on April 3, 2025. The judges were Brynja Dan Gunnarsdóttir, Elísabet Hulda, Hanna Rún Bazev Óladóttir, Ragga Ragnars and Sólrún Diego.
Including O’Connor, a total of 20 women competed for the title. Here are the results:
