Mojean Aria was born in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia to Iranian parents. He and Daniel MacPherson, Russell Crowe and Luke Hemsworth are among the Australian actors featured in the upcoming mixed martial arts film “Beast”, which was produced by Broken Open Pictures.

In 1999, Aria started taking acting lessons. In 2004, he won a scholarship to The McDonald College in Sydney.
In 2007, Aria attended the he National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney and landed a lead role in Claire McCarthy‘s film “Cross Life.” From Sydney, he later moved to Los Angeles, California, United States.
On June 16, 2025, Aria turned 32. Also born in Sydney, MacPherson will turn 46 on April 25, 2026.
“Beast“
Born in Wellington, New Zealand, Crowe turned 62 on April 7, 2026. He and David Frigerio wrote “Beast”, which was directed by Tyler Atkins.
The film stars MacPherson as Patton James, a mixed martial arts legend who became a commercial fisherman. When his brother is in danger, James comes out of retirement and reunites with his former coach Sammy, who is played by Crowe.
Patton commits to one final fight in ONE Championship against its champion Xavier Grau, who is played by Bren Foster. Liam Resnekov plays the coach of the latter.
Aria and Hemsworth’s respective characters are named Malon and Gabriel Stone. Joining them, Crowe, MacPherson, Foster and Resnekov in the cast are Amy Shark as Rose, Eliza Matengu as Toni, Kelly Gale as Luciana, Luke Hemsworth as Gabriel Stone, Nathan Phillips as Skip, Rockie Frigerio as Caitlin and Saphira Moran as Nadine James.
Hemsworth told Digital Journal that his “Beast” character is “a little bit of a used car salesman wrapped up with Hollywood agents and sports agents”. He said, “To stand alongside such people as Russell Crowe, Daniel MacPherson, Mojean Aria, Bren Foster, and Amy Shark was a dream come true.”
The film is 113 minutes long. It will be released by Lionsgate in the U.S. on April 10, 2026 and by Rialto Distribution in Australia on April 23, 2026.
