“ONE: Age of Dragons” is the next ONE Championship event to take place in China. Added to the card is a featherweight kickboxing bout between Jorina Baars, 31, of Den Helder, Netherlands and Christina Breuer of Cologne, Germany.

Both Baars and Breuer are ONE Super Series debutantes. The Dutch kickboxer is the current International Sport Karate Association Welterweight Champion.

Easily one of the most sought-after martial artists in the world, Baars has attained success in every stage that she has competed in. Aside from the ISKA Welterweight World Championship, her other accolades inclued a National Dutch Muay Thai Championship, the Amazon of K-1 Muay Thai Grand Prix Championship and the inaugural Lion Fight Muay Thai Women’s Welterweight World Championship.

Baars remains undefeated in 49 Muay Thai contests, owning an impressive 46-0-3 record with 16 of those victories coming by way of knockout. The most notable win in her stellar resumé is a unanimous decision victory over multiple-time MMA world champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Justino.

On the other hand, Breuer is a DKKO German Champion. Representing Tiger-Gym Kerpen, the German kickboxer is trained by Said El Hamdaoui.

“ONE: Age of Dragons”

ONE Championship will hold “ONE: Age of Dragons” at the Cadillac Arena in Beijing, China on November 16, 2019. Including the featherweight bout between Baars and Breuer, the combat sports event will feature 12 matches not only in mixed martial arts but also in ONE Championship’s striking-only league ONE Super Series with kickboxing and Muay Thai contests.

In the main event, reigning ONE Flyweight Kickboxing World Champion Ilias Ennahachi of the Netherlands will defend his World Title against challenger “Metal Storm” Wang Wenfeng of China. In the co-main event, Tarik “The Tank” Khbabez of Morocco and Roman Kryklia of Ukraine will do battle for the inaugural ONE Light Heavyweight Kickboxing World Championship.
