Bui Quynh Hoa, 25, of Hanoi, Vietnam describes herself as an independent woman with a strong personality, a great sense of humor and a deep capacity for love. She shared, “If I could have any superpower, it would be the ability to teleport to help people whenever they need me.”
Bui is a veteran in modelling and beauty pageants. She was born and raised in Hanoi.
On December 7, 2017, Bui competed against 29 other Hoa hậu Áo dài Việt Nam Thế giới 2017 candidates in Prague, Czech Republic and won the title. On January 6, 2018, she competed against 69 other Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 candidates at the Hoan Vu Convention Center in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa, Vietnam and finished in the Top 45.
Along with 33 other models, Bui and Trinh Van Bao, who later became Mister International 2019, joined Siêu mẫu Việt Nam 2018 (Vietnamese Supermodel 2018), which aired from August 24, 2018 to September 9, 2018. Bao was one of the two Bronze Award winners while Bui was the sole winner of the Gold Award.
On June 25, 2022, Bui competed against 70 other Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 candidates at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She finished in the Top 10.
On September 15, 2022, Bui represented Vietnam at Supermodel International 2022, competed against 19 other candidates at the MAYA Lifestyle Shopping Centre in Chiang Mai, Thailand and won the title. Nguyễn Thị Hương Ly of Gia Lai and Trịnh Thị Hồng Đăng of Ho Chi Minh City were the respective first and second runners-up.
On September 29, 2023, Bui competed against 17 other Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 candidates at the Hoa Binh Theater, Ho Chi Minh City and won the title.
On November 18, 2023, Bui will represent Vietnam at Miss Universe 2023 at the José Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, El Salvador. She will compete against 84 other candidates.
