Diamond Vale’s Dr. Sihlé Letren is Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago 2025

Dr. Sihlé Steffani Letren, 30, will represent Trinidad and Tobago in the 74th edition of Miss Universe. She is a medical doctor, a visual artist and model from Diamond Vale, Diego Martin, Trinidad and Tobago. 

This is not the first time Letren is representing Trinidad and Tobago in an international competition. She was the country’s candidate in the 28th edition of Top Model of the World.

Letren earned her medical degree from the University of the West Indies (UWI) in Mona, Jamaica. She speaks Spanish and English and she is 5’8″ tall.

On March 22, 2015, Letren competed against 14 other Miss UWI 2015 candidates at the Assembly Hall of the UWI. She was runner-up to Ameika Louis.

On January 29, 2022, Letren was crowned Top Model of the World Trinidad and Tobago 2022. At the time, she was employed at St. James Medical Complex in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago and assigned in the hospital’s new coronavirus (COVID-19) unit.

On March 11, 2022, Letren represented Trinidad and Tobago at Top Model of the World 2022 at Tanoak Resort in Ain Sokhna, Egypt. She competed against 45 other candidates including Natálie Kočendová of the Czech Republic, who won the title.

Runner-up to Kočendová was Nicole Alejandra Zambrano Barreto of Ecuador. The second runner-up was Dayana Cárdenas Mestra of Colombia while Letren and Chlöe Nicole Ellman-Baker of England were the respective third and fourth runners-up.

On September 11, 2022, Letren represented Diamond Vale at Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago 2022. She competed against 23 other candidates at Queen’s Hall in Port of Spain and finished in the Top 6.

On July 20, 2025, Letren represented Diamond Vale at Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago 2025. She competed against 13 other candidates at Queens Hall in Port of Spain and won the title.

On November 21, 2025, Letren will represent Trinidad and Tobago at Miss Universe 2025 at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand. She will compete against more than 120 other candidates including Aldana Masset, 25, of Argentina, Gabriela Lacerda, 22, of Brazil, Lina Luaces, 22, of Cuba, Karla Bacigalupo, 33, of Peru, Chiara Wijntuin, 21, of Suriname and Stephany Abasali, 25, of Venezuela.
