
ONE Championship athletes Nieky Holzken, 41, of Helmond, Netherlands and Sinsamut Klinmee, 29, of Chonburi, Thailand compete in the lightweight division as kickboxers. They competed twice in the Singapore-based martial arts promotion.
On March 26, 2022, Holzken fought Klinmee in a Muay Thai bout in the lightweight division at “ONE: X” at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. The Thai kickboxer knocked out his Dutch opponent via punch after 1 minute and 39 seconds in the second round.
It was Holzken’s third ONE Championship loss. He lost to Regian Eersel on May 17, 2019 in Kallang and on October 26, 2019 in Jakarta, Indonesia both via unanimous decision.
“ONE Friday Fights 100”
Featuring two mixed martial arts matches, two kickboxing contests and eight Muay Thai bouts, ONE Championship held “ONE Friday Fights 100” at the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on March 14, 2025. The 11th fight was a kickboxing match between Holzken and Klinmee at a catch weight of 175 pounds.
The referee stopped the fight after 1 minute and 58 seconds in the first round. Holzken knocked out Klinmee via punch.
Among the 24 athletes who competed, Holzken and five others won Performance of the Night bonus awards. The Dutch kickboxer was awarded $50,000 while the other five winners were given $10,000 each.
Losing to Holzken downgraded Klinmee’s professional kickboxing record to 89 wins, 20 losses and 3 draws. The Thai kickboxer made his ONE Championship debut at “ONE: X”.
On the other hand, Holzken now has 95 wins, 17 losses and 1 No Contest. He has been a ONE Championship athlete since 2018.
Nieky Holzken
Born and raised in Helmond, Holzken was an infant when his parents separated. He was raised by his father’s parents.
In 1993, Holzken started training kickboxing. On August 18, 2006, he married Nathellie Holzken.
Nathellie has a beauty salon in Helmond called Natural Glow. She and Nieky have a son and a daughter together.
On November 26, 2006, Nieky made his K-1 debut in Stockholm, Sweden. He was a Glory kickboxer from 2012 to 2017.
