Annika Xue Sager, 25, represented Singapore in the inaugural edition of Global Asian Model. She will represent the country in the 74th edition of Miss Universe.
Sager is of Singaporean and German descent. From 2006 to 2010, she attended Deutsche Schule Tokyo Yokohama in Yokohama, Japan.
From 2020 to 2024, Sager attended Hotelschool The Hague in the Hague, Netherlands where she earned a bachelor’s degree in hospitality administration and management. From 2024 to 2025, she attended Toulouse Business School (TBS) Education – Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain where she earned a master’s degree in luxury and fashion marketing.
Global Asian Model 2019
On October 17, 2019, Sager competed against nine other Miss Universe Singapore 2019 at Zouk in Clarke Quay, Singapore. She ranked third and was crowned Global Asian Model Singapore 2019.
On November 21, 2019, Sager represented Singapore in the female category of Global Asian Model 2019 and competed against 18 other models at The Cove of Okada Manila in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines. She finished in the Top 10.
Artittaya Promchart of Thailand won the category. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Ella Lubag of the Philippines, Runa Matsui of Japan, Anyssa Mendez of the United States and My Duyen of Vietnam.
Miss Universe 2025
In March 2025, Sager joined truefuels in Barcelona as a founder’s associate. In June 2025, she graduated from TBS Education-Barcelona.
On October 5, 2025, Sager competed against 14 other Miss Universe Singapore 2025 candidates at the Amber Lounge of The Clifford Pier at The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore on Collyer Quay in the Downtown Core, Singapore and won the title.
On November 21, 2025, Sager will represent Singapore at Miss Universe 2025 at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand. She will compete against 134 other candidates including Diana Fast, 32, of Germany, Kaori Hashimoto, 21, of Japan, Ahtisa Manalo, 28, of the Philippines, Praveenar Singh, 29, of Thailand and Hương Giang Nguyễn, 33, of Vietnam.
