Zimbabwe will be represented in the 35th edition of Miss Earth by Tinewimbo Dupute, 24. Based in the Philippines, it is an international beauty pageant that advocates for environmental awareness, conservation and social responsibility.
Dupute advocates for a reimagined approach to waste. She supports the promotion of innovation by combining data-driven insight with strategic thinking to champion impactful change, environmental education and collective responsibility.
From Miss UZ 2020 to Miss Supraeminence 2022
After graduating from Dominican Convent High School in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, Dupute moved to Harare, Zimbabwe. She earned a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science from the University of Zimbabwe (UZ) in Harare.
On November 16, 2020, Dupute competed against 14 other Miss UZ 2020 candidates including Ayanda Candice Sibanda, who won the title. Kimberly Chigubu and Dupute were the first and second runners-up, respectively.
On April 23, 2022, Dupute won Miss Supraeminence Global Zimbabwe 2022 at Marina Casino at Longcheng in Belvedere, Harare. She defeated against 17 other candidates, including Zvichanzii Karonga and Ellain Ncube, who were the respective first and second runners-up.
From Miss Nature Zimbabwe 2024 to Miss Earth 2025
On October 6, 2024, Dupute competed against 19 other Miss Nature Zimbabwe 2024 candidates at the Casino Marina Harare Zimbabwe in Harare. She was second runner-up to Mitchell Kudzai Matizha while Tatenda Kimberly Mayoyo was the second runner-up and Tanatswa Kelly Yakobe was the third runner-up.
On September 16, 2025, Dupute was officially appointed Miss Earth Zimbabwe 2025. After her coronation, she became the official brand ambassador for Green Dollar Coin.
In November 2025, Dupute will represent Zimbabwe at Miss Earth 2025. She will compete against more than 80 other candidates including Delina Girma, 18, of Ethiopia, Cherise Asher Ayisi, 21, of Ghana, Erline Édouard, 26, of Haiti, Mirel Atieno, 26, of Kenya, Monica Swen, 23, of Liberia, Ndeshipewa Angula, 20, of Namibia, Divine Nelson, 22, of Nigeria, Abidemi Akannie, 24, of Sierra Leone, Jenique Botha, 22, of South Africa and Amina Jigge, 26, of Tanzania.
