Julie Marie Tollefsen will represent Norway in an international beauty pageant again. The Norwegian fashion designer and makeup artist represented the country in the 72nd edition of Miss Universe and the 15th edition of Miss Supranational.
From 2015 to 2016, Tollefsen attended the School of Fashion Industry (SoFI) in Oslo. She graduated from the Oslo campus of the École supérieure des arts et techniques de la mode (ESMOD) in 2017 and she underwent training as a makeup artist for fashion and beauty at Imageakademiet in Oslo in 2017.
From Miss Norway to Miss Universe 2023
On August 5, 2023, Tollefsen represented Oslo at Miss Norway 2023 and competed against 11 other finalists at the Design og arkitektur Norge (DOGA) in Oslo. She won the title.
Runner-up to Tollefsen was Andrea Farias of Kristiansand. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Charlotte Høivold of Kristiansand, Emilie Svendby of Lillestrøm and Madeleine Malmberg of Fredrikstad.
On November 18, 2023, Tollefsen represented Norway at Miss Universe 2023 and competed against 83 other candidates at the José Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, El Salvador. She was unplaced.
From Miss Supranational 2025 to Miss Charm 2025
On August 10, 2024, Tollefsen crowned her successor Miss Norway 2024 Lilly Sodal at Rebel in Oslo. On February 1, 2025, the former was appointed Miss Supranational Norway 2025.
On June 27, 2025, Tollefsen represented Norway at Miss Supranational 2025 and competed against 65 other candidates at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland. She was unplaced.
On September 12, 2025, Tollefsen was officially appointed Miss Charm Norway 2025. In November 2025, she will represent Norway at Miss Charm 2025 in Vietnam where she will compete against more than 40 other candidates including Nasia Delis, 26, of Australia, Pauline Thimon, 28, of France, Lizzy Giannitelli, 27, of Italy, Eri Fujita, 29, of Japan, Kateryna Bilyk, 29, of Ukraine and Anna Blanco, 25, of Venezuela.
