Olivia Margaret Freeman, 22, of Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands is one of the candidates of the 74th edition of Miss Universe. She is an alumna of Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.
Freeman is a finance specialist and a tennis enthusiast. Her sister Adorya Rocio Baly Wanty is married to Chris Wanty.
On December 20, 2015, Adorya represented the British Virgin Islands at Miss Universe 2015 and competed against 79 other candidates at The AXIS in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. She was unplaced.
Olivia Freeman
From 2015 to 2020, Freeman attended Saint George’s Secondary School in Hannah, Road Town. From July 2019 to August 2019, she was an air traffic controller intern at Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport on Beef Island, Tortola.
From 2020 to 2022, Freeman attended Hamilton Lavity Stoutt Community College in Paraquita Bay, Parham Town, British Virgin Islands. In July 2024, she joined the government of the British Virgin Islands as a finance cadet.
In August 2024, Freeman graduated from George State University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. She was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa sorority and the National Society of Leadership and Success of the university.
Miss Universe 2025
On August 24, 2025, Freeman competed against three other Miss Universe British Virgin Islands 2025 candidates at the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium of H. Lavity Stoutt Community College. She won the title.
On November 21, 2025, Freeman will represent the British Virgin Islands at Miss Universe 2025 at the Impact Challenger Hall in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand. She will compete against more than 120 other candidates including Maliqué Maranda Bowe, 24, of the Bahamas, Lina Luaces, 22, of Cuba, Jennifer Ventura, 27, of the Dominican Republic, Chandini Baljor, 22, of Guyana and Gabrielle Henry, 29, of Jamaica.
The British Virgin Islands has yet to place in Miss Universe. The British overseas territory was represented in the international beauty pageant by Miss British Virgin Islands in 1977, from 1979 to 2002 and from 2010 to 2020 and by Miss Universe British Virgin Islands from 2021 to 2024.
