Gazelle Garcia is a Kiwi-Filipina information technology professional, model and beauty queen based in Auckland, New Zealand. She is an alumna of Philippine Normal University in Ermita, Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines and the University of Santo Tomas in Sampaloc, Manila.
In 2012, Garcia moved from the Philippines to New Zealand. She represented New Zealand in the 47th edition of The Miss Globe and will represent the country in the 13th edition of Miss Grand International.
The Miss Globe 2020
On October 10, 2020, Garcia competed against eight other Miss Asia Pacific International New Zealand 2020 candidates in Auckland. She ranked second and was crowned The Miss Globe New Zealand 2020.
On November 12, 2020, Garcia represented New Zealand at The Miss Globe 2020 at the Olympic Park in Tirana, Albania. She competed against 41 other candidates including Lorinda Kolgeci of Kosovo, who won the title.
Runner-up to Kolgeci was Evgeniya Matveeva of Siberia and the respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Naomi Chioma of Ghana, Thawany de Faria of Brazil and Rowena Sasuluya of the Philippines. Both Iljada Baci of Albania and Garcia finished in the Top 15.
Miss Grand International 2025
On September 29, 2024, Garcia competed against 15 other Miss Universe New Zealand 2024 candidates at the Dorothy Winstone Centre Performing Arts Centre in Auckland. She was runner-up to Victoria Velasquez Vincent.
On June 24, 2025, Garcia competed against 12 other Miss Universe New Zealand 2025 candidates at the SkyCity Theatre in Auckland. She was third runner-up to Abbigail Sturgin and was crowned Miss Grand New Zealand 2025.
On October 18, 2025, Garcia will represent New Zealand at Miss Grand International 2025 at the MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. She will compete against more than 70 other candidates including Dajana Gjoka, 23, of Albania, Kaliana Diniz, 25, of Brazil and Sarunrat Puagpipat, 28, of Thailand.
