Samantha Quenedit Sánchez, 25, of Quito, Ecuador is a singer, a dancer and a dance teacher with a master’s degree in dance. She teaches dance at the Proarte Estudio de Danza in Quito.
From 2018 to 2022, Quenedit attended the Universidad Internacional del Ecuador (UIDE) in Quito where she earned a bachelor’s degree in social communication. She represented Ecuador in the sixth edition of Teen Universe and will represent the country in the 13th edition of Miss Grand International.
Quenedit speaks Spanish and English. She is 5’7″ tall.
Teen Universe 2017
On April 25, 2017, Quenedit represented Ecuador at Teen Universe 2017 at the Teatro Nacional Rubén Darío in Managua, Nicaragua. She competed against 25 other candidates including Sheynnis Palacios, who represented the host country.
It was Srishti Kaur of India who won the title. Samantha Pierre of Canada and Ary Trava of Mexico were the respective first and second runners-up.
Quenedit finished in the Top 16. Palacios finished in the Top 6 with Jearmanda Ramos of the Dominican Republic and Julieta Angos Doffo of Argentina.
Palacios finished in the Top 40 at Miss World 2021 on March 16, 2022. She won Miss Universe 2023 on November 18, 2023.
Miss Grand International 2025
The Miss Universe Ecuador 2025 coronation ceremony will be held in Guayaquil, Ecuador on July 26, 2025. Quenedit was one of the 19 candidates as the representative of Quito.
On July 18, 2025, the preliminary competition was held at the Centro de Convenciones Mall del Rio in Cuenca, Azuay, Ecuador. At the end of the ceremony, Quenedit was crowned Miss Grand Ecuador 2025.
On October 18, 2025, Quenedit will represent Ecuador at Miss Grand International 2025 at the MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. She will compete against more than 70 other candidates including Layanna Robinson, 22, of Canada, Madelyn Mejía, 28, of the Dominican Republic, Vishakha Kanwar, 20, of India and Sarunrat Puagpipat, 28, of Thailand.
