Marvelous Sanyaolu of Baton Rouge, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, United States will compete in the 16th edition of Miss Supranational 2025. This is the first time she is representing the U.S. in an international beauty pageant.
Originally from Lagos, Nigeria, Sanyaolu is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in recreational therapy at the Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge. She is a Reserve Officers’ Training Corps cadet in the U.S. Army and a former resident of Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.
Sanyaolu speaks four languages and she is into fashion, modeling, fitness, mechanics and travel. She turned 22 on November 8, 2024.
Miss Louisiana USA 2024
On March 30, 2024, Sanyaolu represented East Baton Rouge Parish at Miss Louisiana USA 2024 at the Jefferson Performing Arts Center in Metairie, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. She competed against 26 other candidates including Lafayette’s Sydney Taylor, who won the title.
Runner-up to Taylor was Magnolia’s Hannah Fontenot and the respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Pelican State’s Emily Randon, Crescent City’s Trinitee Johnson and Acadiana’s Anna Katherine Steckler. Sanyaolu was unplaced.
On June 22, 2024, Sanyaolu competed against eight other Miss Lafayette USA 2025 candidates in Lafayette. She was second runner-up to Steckler.
Miss Supranational 2025
On May 7, 2025, Sanyaolu represented Louisiana at Miss Supranational USA 2025 at La Scala de Miami in Miami, Florida, USA and won the title. She bested seven other candidates.
On June 27, 2025, Sanyaolu will represent the U.S. at Miss Supranational 2025 in Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland. She will compete against 71 other candidates including Paula Ezendu, 26, of Nigeria.
This will be the 14th time the U.S. is represented in Miss Supranational. The country is home to Miss Supranational 2018 first runner-up Katrina Dimaranan and Miss Supranational 2024 first runner-up Jenna Dykstra.
The reigning Miss Supranational 2024 is Harashta Haifa Zahra of Indonesia. She turned 21 on September 5, 2024.
