Ekaterina Zabolotnova (Екатерина Заболотнова), 29, of Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan is one of the candidates in the 16th edition of Miss Supranational. She is an eco-friendly fashion designer who earned a degree in sewing and the manufacturing of outerwear from a vocation school.
Zabolotnova previously represented Kyrgyzstan in Miss World, Miss Earth and Miss Cosmo. She was Miss Kyrgyzstan 2012 fourth runner-up and Miss Kyrgyzstan 2016 first runner-up.
Miss World 2019
On November 27, 2019, Zabolotnova was appointed Miss World Kyrgyzstan 2019. She replaced Aizhan Chanacheva.
On December 14, 2019, Zabolotnova represented Kyrgyzstan at Miss World 2019 and competed against 110 other candidates at the ExCeL London in London, England, U.K. She was unplaced.
It was the seventh time Kyrgyzstan was represented in Miss World. The country made its debut in the competition in 2011.
Miss Earth 2021
Kyrgyzstan made its Miss Earth debut in 2016 with Begim Almasbekova as the candidate and in 2017, Begimai Nazarova represented the country in the competition. Both were unplaced.
From 2018 to 2020, Kyrgyzstan did not participate in Miss Earth. On October 28, 2021, Zabolotnova was appointed Miss Earth Kyrgyzstan 2021.
On November 21, 2021, Zabolotnovarepresented Kyrgyzstan at Miss Earth 2021 and competed against 79 other candidates in a virtual coronation ceremony. She was unplaced.
Miss Cosmo 2024
In 2022, Zabolotnova moved to South Korea. In 2023, she visited Cambodia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
On September 16, 2024, Zabolotnova flew from Seoul, South Korea to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She was appointed as Kyrgyzstan’s candidate in the inaugural edition of Miss Cosmo.
On October 5, 2024, Zabolotnova competed against 55 other Miss Cosmo 2024 candidates at the Saigon Riverside Park in Ho Chi Minh City. She was unplaced.
Miss Supranational 2025
In 2022, Kyrgyzstan made its Miss Supranational debut. The country’s candidate Shirin Alaychieva was unplaced.
From 2023 to 2024, Kyrgyzstan did not participate in Miss Supranational. On May 28, 2025, Zabolotnova was appointed Miss Supranational Kyrgyzstan 2025.
On June 27, 2025, Zabolotnova will represent Kyrgyzstan at Miss Supranational 2025 in Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland. She compete against 71 other candidates including Chandara Chhum, 26, of Cambodia, Eshwin Kaur, 28, of Malaysia, Tarah Valencia, 23, of the Philippines, Yu Hyeon-jeong, 19, of South Korea, Michelle Behrmann, 31, of Thailand and Võ Cao Kỳ Duyên, 20, of Vietnam.
