Diana June Meyer, 32, will represent Germany again in an international beauty pageant. She is a mother of one.
In 2016, Meyer graduated from the Macromedia Hochschule für Medien und Kommunikation (MHMK) in Hamburg with a bachelor’s degree in cultural journalism. In January 2023, she joined Mative Media in Germany as a social media and community manager.
Miss Europe 2024
On February 24, 2024, Meyer represented Germany at Miss Europe 2024 in Beirut, Lebanon. It is the 10th edition of the international beauty pageant for European women.
Meyer competed against 19 other candidates including Roza Gadieva of Russia, who won the title. Runner-up to Gadieva was Elmas Yilmaz of Turkiye.
Irina Maksimovich of Belarus was the second runner-up while Meyer was the third runner-up. Eva Jovanovska of North Macedonia was the fourth runner-up.
Miss Universe Germany 2025
On April 6, 2025, Meyer competed against 10 other Miss Universe Germany 2025 candidates in Heidelberg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany and won the title. It is the 16th edition of the national beauty pageant that selects the country’s Miss Universe candidate.
It is also the first edition of the competition under the directorship of Kim Kelly Braun, who became the new national director on March 6, 2025. She is also the national director of Miss Grand Germany.
Runner-up to Meyer was Chloe Elyse Richardson. Finishing in the Top 5 were Careen Liebe, Lara Doval and Nancy Murray.
Miss Universe 2025
On November 21, 2025, Meyer will represent Germany at Miss Universe 2025 at the Impact Arena in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, Thailand. It is the 74th edition of the international beauty pageant currently owned by JKN Global Group in Thailand and Legacy Holding Group in Mexico.
This makes Meyer the first mother to represent Germany in Miss Universe. She has one son who was born in 2020.
Meyer is the fourth Miss Universe Germany from Hamburg following Gerti Daub in 1957, Verona Feldbusch in 1993 and Natasha Börger in 2002. Currently, Germany has one Miss Universe crown, which was won by Baden-Württemberg’s Marlene Schmidt in 1961.
