England’s Christian Leroy Duncan beats Russia’s Andrey Pulyaev at ‘UFC Fight Night 255’ in London

Christian Leroy Duncan, 29, of Gloucester, Gloucestershire, England, United Kingdom was one of the English mixed martial artists who won at “UFC Fight Night 255”. He now has four Ultimate Fighting Championship wins.

Featuring 14 matches, the event also called “UFC on ESPN+ 113” was held at The O2 Arena in London, England, United Kingdom on March 22, 2025. The fourth match was a middleweight bout between Duncan and UFC debutante Andrey Pulyaev, 27, of Novosibirsk, Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia.

Jason Herzog was the referee of the middleweight contest. Ben Cartlidge, Anders Ohlsson and Clemens Werner were the judges.

After three five-minute rounds, Herzog raised the hand of Duncan. Cartlidge and Werner scored the fight 30-27 while Ohlsson scored it 30-26 all in favor of the contender from Gloucester.

The victory improved Duncan’s professional MMA record to 11 wins and 2 losses. The first three UFC opponents he defeated were Dusko Todorovic, Denis Tiuliulin and Claudio Ribeiro.

Pulyaev now has 9 wins and 3 losses. When he made his professional MMA debut in 2022, he defeated three Shlemenko Fighting Championship opponents namely Evgeny Chernyshko, Stanislav Shaboltas and Alexandr Kurshinskiy.

In 2023, Pulyaev lost to Anvarbek Daniyalbekov before defeating Pavel Mustafin, Khuseyn Merzoev and Nikita Kondratov. On February 2, 2024, Pulyaev defeated Weldon Silva de Oliveira in another SFC event.

On August 27, 2024, Pulyaev fought Liam Anderson of Rochester, New York, United States in “Dana White’s Contender Series 2024” Week 3. The Russian MMA fighter won via unanimous decision.
