Gal Gadot

Born in Petah Tikva, Israel and raised in Givat Tal, Rosh HaAyin, Israel, Gal Gadot speaks Hebrew and English. Both of her parents Michael Gadot and Irit Weiss Gadot are of Ashkenazi descent.

Michael is Austrian, German and Russian and a sixth-generation Sabra. He is an engineer.

Irit is Czech and Polish and a first-generation Sabra. She is a physical education teacher.

In 2007, Gal played Miriam “Merry” Elkayam in the television series “Bubot”, which marked her professional acting debut. The first film she starred in is “Fast & Furious”.

Miss Universe 2004

Gal was 18 years old when she won Miss Israel 2004. On June 1, 2004, she represented Israel at Miss Universe 2004 and competed against 79 other candidates at the Centro de Exposiciones y Convenciones Mitad del Mundo (CEMEXPO) in Quito, Ecuador.

It was Jennifer Hawkins of Australia who won the title. Runner-up to Hawkins was Shandi Finnesey of the United States.

The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Alba Reyes of Puerto Rico, Yanina Gonzalez of Paraguay and Danielle Jones of Trinidad and Tobago. Gal was unplaced.

“Fast & Furious”

Written by Chris Morgan and directed by Justin Lin, “Fast & Furious” hit theaters in the U.S. on April 3, 2009. One of the characters is Gisele Yashar, a liaison for Arturo Braga.

John Ortiz played Braga while Gal played Yashar. Joining them in the main cast are Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, Paul Walker sa Brian O’Conner, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz, Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto and Sung Kang as Han Lue.

Gal reprised her role as Yashar in “Fast Five” and “Fast & Furious 6”. The films were released on April 29, 2011 and May 24, 2013, respectively.

Born in Glendale, California, USA, Walker died in Santa Clarita, California on November 30, 2013. He was 40.

“Snow White”

On April 22, 2022, Gal confirmed that she had completed filming her “Snow White” scenes. The film is distributed by Walt Disney Studio Motion Pictures, which is based in Burbank, California.

San Francisco, California native Erin Cressida Wilson wrote the screenplay. The film was directed by Marc Webb, who was born in Bloomington, Indiana, USA.

Playing the title character is Rachel Zegler, who was born in Hackensack, New Jersey, USA. The character’s stepmother, The Evil Queen, is played by Gal.

Ansu Kabia plays Huntsman, the servant of the Evil Queen ordered to kill Snow White.

On April 30, 2024, Gal turned 39. On May 3, 2024, Zegler turned 23.

On March 12, 2025, “Snow White” made its world premiere at Alcázar of Segovia in Segovia, Spain. It will hit theaters in the U.S. on March 21, 2025.
