“The Fearless” Joshua Van, 23, of Houston, Texas, United States was one of the winners at “UFC 310“. It marked the Burmese mixed martial artist’s fifth victory in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, which is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Born in Hakha, Myanmar, Van moved to Malaysia with his parents in 2011. They moved from Malaysia to Houston in 2013.
Training out of 4oz Fight Club in Houston, Van competed in Fury Fighting Championship from 2021 to 2022. The first four UFC opponents he defeated are Zhalgas Zhumagulov, Kevin Borjas, Felipe Bunes and Edgar Chairez.

Featuring 13 MMA matches, “UFC 310” was held at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada on the evening of December 7, 2024. In the third bout of the evening, Van fought “Custom Made” Cody Durden, 33, of Covington, Georgia, USA in the flyweight division.
Chris Tognoni served as the referee of the flyweight contest. After three five-minute rounds, he raised the hand of Van, who was declared the winner via unanimous decision.
The judges were Mike Bell, Eric Colon and Ron McCarthy. They scored the bout 29-28, 30-26 and 30-27, respectively, all in favor of the Burmese MMA fighter.
Losing to Van downgraded Durden’s professional MMA record to 17 wins and 7 losses. The fighter from Covington has been competing in the UFC since 2020.
On the other hand, Van how has 12 wins and 2 losses. He joined the UFC in 2023.
