Abus Magomedov, 34, of Argun, Russia has earned his third win in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Training at the University of Fighting in Düsseldorf (UFD) Gym in Dusseldorf, Germany, he has fought five bouts in the mixed martial arts promotion based in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.
On September 3, 2022, Magomedov made his UFC debut. Before joining the promotion, he competed in Outsider Cup, Kiru, Tempel Fight School, Superior Fighting Championship, European MMA, German MMA Championship, Heroes Fighting Championship, Merseburger Fight Night, Final Fight Championship, Professional Fighters League, Elite MMA Championship and Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki.

Brunno “The Hulk” Ferreira, 31, of Curitiba, Parana, Brazil fought Magomedov at “UFC 308” at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on October 26, 2024. It was the fifth among the 13 bouts on the card.
Ferreira and Magomedov battled it out in the middleweight division. Marc Goddard served as the referee.
After 3 minutes and 14 seconds in the third round, Goddard stopped the middleweight contest. Magomedov submitted Ferreira via arm-triangle choke.
The loss downgraded Ferreira’s professional MMA record to 12 wins and 2 losses. He has been competing in the UFC since 2023.
On the other hand, Magomedov now has 27 wins, 6 losses and 1 draw. He is now riding a two-bout winning streak.
On November 4, 2023, Magomedov lost to Caio Borralho of Sao Luis, Maranhao, Brazil via unanimous decision at “UFC Fight Night 231” via unanimous decision in São Paulo, Brazil. On May 18, 2024, the Russian-German MMA fighter defeated Warlley Alves of Governador Valadares, Minas Gerais, Brazil via unanimous decision at “UFC Fight Night 241” in Enterprise, Nevada.
