Rinat “Gladiator” Fakhretdinov, 33, of Moscow, Russia has earned his fifth win in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He has fought six bouts in the mixed martial arts promotion based in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.
On June 4, 2022, Fakhretdinov made his UFC debut in Enterprise, Nevada. Before joining the promotion, he competed in Warrior’s Honor, Razdolie Cup, No. 1 Martial Arts Club, Fight Star, Russian MMA Union, World Ertaymash Federation, Octagon Fighting Sensation, Battle for Samara, Gorilla Fighting Championships and UAE Warriors.

Carlos “The Lion” Leal Miranda, 30, of Curitiba, Parana, Brazil fought Fakhretdinov at “UFC 308” at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on October 26, 2024. They battled it out in the welterweight division.
The match between Fakhretdinov and Leal was the first among the 13 bouts on the card. Vitor Ribeiro served as the referee.
After three five-minute rounds, Ribeiro raised the hand of Fakhretdinov, who was declared the winner via unanimous decision. The loss downgraded Leal’s professional MMA record to 21 wins and 6 losses.
Leal made his UFC debut at “UFC 308”. He is a former Professional Fighters League athlete.
Fakhretdinov now has 23 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw. When he made his UFC debut at “UFC Vegas 56”, he defeated Andreas Michailidis of Athens, Greece via unanimous decision.
On December 17, 2022, Fakhretdinov defeated Bryan Battle of Charlotte, North Carolina, USA via unanimous decision at “UFC Vegas 66” in Enterprise. The Russian MMA fighter defeated Kevin Lee of Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA via technical submission at “UFC Vegas 76” in Enterprise on July 1, 2023 and Nicolas Dalby of Copenhagen, Denmark via split decision at “UFC on ABC 6” in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on June 22, 2024.
