“The Last Ottoman” Ibo Aslan, 28, of Istanbul, Turkiye has fought two Ultimate Fighting Championship fights and won both. Before joining the mixed martial arts promotion based in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, he competed in Austrian Fight Challenge, BRAVE Combat Federation, Vendetta Austria, Tosan Fight Night and Sparta Championship Fighting.
On August 24, 2020, Anton Turkalj of Gothenburg, Sweden submitted Aslan via rear-naked choke at “BRAVE CF 40” in Stockholm, Sweden. They had their rematch when the Turkish MMA fighter made his UFC debut.

On March 30, 2024, Aslan defeated Turkalj via TKO at “UFC on ESPN 4” in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA. On October 26, 2024, the Turkish MMA fighter fought “The Lion” Raffael Cerqueira, 34, of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil at “UFC 308” at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Cerqueira made his UFC debut at “UFC 308”. It marked Aslan’s second UFC fight.
Aslan and Cerqueira battled it out in the light heavyweight division. Marc Goddard served as the referee.
After 51 seconds in the first round, Goddard stopped the light heavyweight contest. Aslan defeated Cerqueira via technical knockout via punches.
The loss downgraded Cerqueira’s professional MMA record to 11 wins and 1 loss. He is a former Demo Fight athlete.
On the other hand, Aslan now has 14 wins and 1 loss. His first seven professional MMA fights were in Austrian Fight Challenge.
