Geoff “Handz of Steel” Neal, 34, of Dallas, Texas, United States has earned his ninth win in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Training at Fortis MMA in Dallas, he has fought 12 bouts in the mixed martial arts promotion based in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
On February 18, 2018, Neal made his UFC debut in Austin, Texas. Before joining the promotion, he competed in Xtreme Combat Productions, Xtreme Knockout, 24/7 Entertainment, Legacy Fighting Championship, Rumble Time Promotions and Legacy Fighting Alliance.
“UFC 308”
Rafael dos Anjos, 40, of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil fought Neal at “UFC 308” at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on October 26, 2024. It was the seventh among the 13 bouts on the card.
Dos Anjos and Neal battled it out in the welterweight division. Mark Smith served as the referee.
After 1 minute and 30 seconds in the first round, Smith stopped the welterweight contest. Neal defeated dos Anjos via technical knockout via knee injury.
The loss downgraded dos Anjos’s professional MMA record to 32 wins and 17 losses. He has been competing in the UFC since 2008.
On the other hand, Neal now has 16 wins and 6 losses. This is the third time he won a UFC bout via TKO.
On July 27, 2019, Neal defeated Niko Price of Cape Coral, Florida, USA via TKO via punches at “UFC 240” in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. On December 14, 2019, the Fortis MMA athlete defeated Mike Perry of Altamonte Springs, Florida via TKO via head kick and punches at “UFC 245” in Paradise, Nevada.
