Tania Estrada’s stardom from Mexicana Universal 2023 to Miss Grand International 2024

Tania Estrada Quezada, 28, of Guerrero, Chihuahua, Mexico earned her bachelor’s degree in communication sciences from the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua (UACH) in Chihuahua, Chihuahua. She works as a presenter for Televisa’s Foro TV news channel in Mexico City, Mexico.

Estrada is 5’712” tall. She grew up in Basuchil, Guerrero.

On November 19, 2022, Estrada was crowned Mexicana Universal Chihuahua 2022. On September 2, 2023, she represented Chihuahua at Mexicana Universal 2023 and competed against 31 other candidates at the Centro de Convenciones y Exposiciones in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

Melissa Flores was crowned Mexicana Universal 2023. In second placed was Mexicana Internacional 2023 Valeria Villanueva.

Estrada ranked third and was crowned Mexicana Charm 2023. In fourth and fifth placces were Mexicana Orb 2023 Xiadani Saucedo Arrieta and Mexicana Hispanoamericana 2023 Carolina Perez.

On August 28, 2024, Estrada was appointed Miss Grand Mexico 2024. Instead of her, Arrieta will represent Mexico at Miss Charm 2024 in Vietnam on December 21, 2024.

Estrada and her fellow Miss Grand International 2024 were supposed to participate in pre-coronation activities in Cambodia from October 3-15, 2024. But on October 6, 2024, it was announced that the activities would be relocated to Thailand.

Candidates from Belarus, Bonaire, Cambodia, Costa Rica, Greece, Hong Kong, Ireland, Romania, Seychelles, Turkey, Ukraine and Uzbekistan withdrew from the competition. On the other hand, Greenland is represented for the first time through Naja Mathilde Rosing, 26.

Including Estrada and Rosing, 69 women will compete for the Miss Grand International 2024 title on October 25, 2024 at the MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. It is the 12th edition of the international beauty pageant based in Bangkok.

The 11th edition was won by Luciana Fuster of Peru at the Phu Tho Indoor Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Mexico was represented by Maria Fernanda Beltran, who was unplaced.
