Cora Lynn Griffen, 28, of Atlanta, Georgia, United States is the Miss Grand International 2024 representative of the U.S. She is an alumna of Auburn University in Auburn, Georgia where she earned her bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in communications.
Griffen is originally from Columbus, Georgia. In 2020, she created the Beautifully Purposed Project where she champions young girls’ self-esteem and confidence.
Miss Georgia USA 2020
On November 23, 2019, Griffen competed for the Miss Georgia USA 2020 crown at the Henry County Performing Arts Center in McDonough, Henry County, Georgia. She was fourth runner-up to Alyssa Beasley.
On February 20, 2021, Griffen represented Columbus at Miss Georgia USA 2021 at The Avalon in McDonough. She won the title.
On November 29, 2021, Griffen represented Georgia at Miss USA 2021 and competed against 20 other candidates at the Paradise Cove Theater in River Spirit Casino Resort, Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. She was unplaced.
Miss Grand International 2024
On August 9, 2024, Griffen turned 28. On August 12, 2024, she represented Georgia at Miss Grand USA 2024 and competed against 18 other candidates at Club M2 in Miami, Florida, USA.
Griffen won the title. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Tiajah Elliott of New Jersey, Victoria Oluwakotanmi of Illinois and Andrea Valentina of Florida.
On October 25, 2024, Griffen will represent the U.S. at Miss Grand International 2024 at the MGI Hall in Bangkok, Thailand. She will compete against 68 other candidates including Samantha Catherine Keaton, 23, of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Keaton represented Wisconsin at Miss USA 2021. She was unplaced.
