Professionally known as Jin, Kim Seok Jin, 31, is one of the seven members of the K-pop boy band BTS. He is now a global ambassador of Alo Yoga, the premium athletic apparel retailer announced on October 17, 2024.
In a statement, Jin said he really likes how Alo Yoga effortlessly combines comfort, style and purpose. He added that he deeply values physical and mental well-being, which the brand emphasizes.
Alo Yoga’s approach to mindful movement really resonates with Jin. According to him, the brand’s studio-to-street designs make it easy to transition between different parts of his day and it creates pieces that lets him move freely whether he is working out, rehearsing or just relaxing.
Jin of BTS
Jin was born in Anyang, Gyeonggi, South Korea. On June 13, 2023, he made his debut as one of the four BTS vocalists.
On February 22, 2017, Jin graduated from Konkuk University in Seoul, South Korea with a bachelor’s degree in film studies. In 2018, he and his older brother opened Ossu Seiromushi, a Japanese-style restaurant in Seoul.
On December 13, 2022, Jin enlisted as an active duty soldier at the army base in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi, South Korea. On June 12, 2024, he was formally discharged, making him the first BTS member to complete military service.
On October 25, 2024, Jin will release his song “I’ll Be There“, which is one of the songs from “Happy“, his debut solo album set to be on November 15, 2024. The other songs are “Running Wild“, “I Will Come to You“, “Another Level“, “Falling” and “Heart on the Window” featuring Shon Seung-wan, 30, also known as Wendy.
Summer Nacewicz of Alo Yoga
Based in Los Angeles, California, United States, Alo Yoga was founded by Danny Harris and Marco DeGeorge in 2007. It sells yoga wear and accessories wear-tested by yogis for the best fit.
In July 2021, Nacewicz joined the company as a creative director. In September 2023, she was promoted to executive vice president of marketing and creative.

In April 2025, the brand will open its first flagship store at Dosan Park in Seoul. With six stories, the store s a 6,000-square-foot space designed with the brand’s signature aesthetic.
