Miss Universe Bulgaria 2024

Iordanova was one of the 16 Miss Universe Bulgaria 2024 finalists. On October 13, 2024, they competed for the five titles at stake at the C’est La Vie Club in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Elena Vian (ЕЛЕНА ВИАН), 33, of Haskovo ranked first and was crowned Miss Universe Bulgaria 2024. Iordanova ranked second and was crowned Miss World Bulgaria 2024.

Bashar Rahal hosted the coronation ceremony, which featured performances by 100 Kila, the Argirovi Brothers, Iva Kostadinovi and Velislava Kostadinovi. Also crowned were Miss Asia Global Bulgaria 2024 Bilyana Velkova (БИЛЯНА ВЕЛКОВА), 20, of Sofia, Miss Tourism Bulgaria 2024 Alexandra Khristova (АЛЕКСАНДРА ХРИСТОВА), 18, of Varna and Miss Sofia Bulgaria 2024 Bilyana Pisova (БИЛЯНА ПИСОВА), 21, of Blagoevgrad.

Miss Universe Bulgaria national director Veneta Krasteva served as a judge. Also in the judging panel were Miss World Bulgaria 2017 Veronika Stefanova, Miss Universe Bulgaria 2023 Yuliia Pavlikova, Mister World Bulgaria 2024 Mikhail Sitev, Julia Salakina, Mariana Mikeli and Plamen Miriyanov.

Miss World 2025

As Miss World Bulgaria 2024, Iordanova will represent Bulgaria at Miss World 2025. The date and venue of the coronation ceremony have yet to be announced.

This will be the 72nd edition of Miss World. Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic won the 71st edition at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India on March 9, 2024.

Bulgaria was represented in Miss World in 1988, from 1990 to 2005, from 2007 to 2013, from 2015 to 2019 and from 2021 to 2023. Representing the Balkan country, Evgenia Kalkandzhieva finished in the Top 10 at Miss World 1995, which is currently the country’s only Miss World placement.

On February 6, 2024, Ivana Sabeva was appointed Miss World Bulgaria 2023. At 16, she made history as the youngest candidate in the history of Miss World.
