Norway’s Lilly Sødal’s stardom from Miss Earth 2022 to Miss Universe 2024

Lilly Sødal, 21, of Kristiansand, Agder County, Norway is one of the Norwegian beauty queens who had the opportunity to represent Norway in both Miss Earth and Miss Universe. These are two of the six grand slam beauty pageants for women along with Miss World, Miss International, Miss Supranational and Miss Grand International.

In 2018, Sodal graduated from Oasen skole Birkelid in Brennåsen, Norway. In February 2019, she visited Galdhøpiggen, the highest mountain in Norway.

On August 14, 2021, Sodal competed against 20 other Miss Norway 2021 candidates at Åpen Scene in Oslo, Norway. She finished in the Top 13.

It was Nora Nakken who won the title. She represented Norway at Miss Universe 2021.

On June 27, 2022, Sodal was officially appointed Miss Earth Norway 2022. On November 29, 2022, she represented Norway at Miss Earth 2022 and competed against 84 other candidates at the Okada Manila in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines.

Mina Sue Choi of South Korea won the title. On the other hand, Sodal finished in the Top 20, marking Norway’s third Miss Earth placement.

Sodal was one of the 15 Miss Norway 2023 semifinalists. However, on June 8, 2024, she officially withdrew from the competition.

On August 5, 2023, Sodal attended the coronation night and crowned her successor Miss Earth Norway 2023 Emilie Natalia Svendby. The Miss Norway 2023 title was won by Julie Tollefsen, who went on to represent Norway at Miss Universe 2023.

On September 12, 2023, Sodal was officially appointed The Miss Globe Norway 2023. She finished in the Top 15 when she represented Norway at The Miss Globe 2023 on November 17, 2023 at the Ramazan Njala Sports Palace in Durres, Albania where she competed against 50 other candidates.

On August 10, 2024, Sodal won Miss Norway 2024, besting eight other finalists at Rebel in Oslo. On November 16, 2024, she will represent Norway at Miss Universe 2024 and compete against more than 120 other candidates at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico.
