Nikoline Andrea Kolstad Tveter Andresen, 22, of Fredrikstad, Østfold County, Norway aims to give her home country its 11th Miss World placement. She is the country’s Miss World 2025 representative.
Norway has yet to win Miss World. The country’s highest placement in the competition was the runner-up finish of Ingeborg Sørensen in 1972 and the most recent one was the Top 7 finish of Mariann Birkedal in 2010.
The date and venue of the Miss World 2025 coronation ceremony have yet to be announced. It is the 72nd edition of the international beauty pageant based in London, England, United Kingdom.
Who is Nikoline Andresen?
Andresen knows the dangers of eating disorders through her personal experience when she was a teenager. As a beauty queen, she wants to use her platform to promote a healthy relationship with food.
From the ninth grade to the second year of high school, Andresen suffered from an eating disorder. She went to an international school from the fifth grade to the 10th grade and studied design and textile at an upper secondary school in Norway.
While Andresen grew up in Fredrikstad, she was born in Oslo, Norway. She also lived in Orlando, Florida, United States.
From August 2022 to September 2023, Andresen was a cultural representative at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. In November 2023, she started working at KØL in Fredrikstad as a server.
Who won Miss Norway 2024?
From 12 semifinalists, only nine were selected to compete for the Miss Norway 2024 title at Rebel in Oslo, Norway. One of them was Andresen.
In the end, Lilly Sødal, 21, of Kristiansand won the title. She will represent Norway at Miss Universe 2024 at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico on November 16, 2024.
Runner-up to Sodal was Andresen. The latter was crowned Miss World Norway 2024.
Oda Langedal Endestad, 28, of Lillestrøm was second runner-up. The respective third and fourth runners-up were Jessica Jacqueline Ruzafa, 22, of Vestby and Benedikte Svendsen, 24, of Oslo.
Aila Ellila, 19, of Honningsvåg, Celly Jane Greve, 22, of Bergen, Ksenija Movsesjan, 23, of Oslo and Natalie Isabell Samuelsen, 18, of Sarpsborg finished in the Top 9. Abelone Smedsrud, 27, of Drammen, Christina Bell Eriksen, 24, of Oslo and Julie Celin Eide, 22, of Elverum finished in the Top 12.
