Usman Janjua, 25, of Birmingham, West Midlands, England, United Kingdom is a Pakistani-English footballer, boxer and model. He is the chief executive officer of a property finance brokerage firm.

As a footballer, Janjua has played for a few professional clubs at youth level. He is 6’2″ tall.

Originally, Janjua is from Islamabad, Pakistan. He earned his medical degree from the University of Birmingham in Birmingham.

Mister England 2024

More than 150 men sent an application to compete for the Mister England 2024 title. Only 12 of them, including Janjua, were selected as finalists.

On August 20, 2024, the 12 finalists competed at The City Rooms in Leicester, Leicestershire, East Midlands, England. Manuel Alcantara Turner, 22, of Windsor, Berkshire won the title while Nathan Angel, 21, of Purbeck, Dorset was the runner-up.

Baltej Singh Tattla, 26, of Greenford, West London won the public vote and was crowned Mister Global England 2024. Janjua was unplaced but he is set to reunite with Turner in an international beauty pageant.

Top Model of the Universe 2024

On May 31, 2024, Janjua was officially appointed Mr. Pakistan World 2024 at FALETTI’s Hotel in Lahore, Pakistan. After his appointment, he told the Daily National Courier, “Pakistan needs a strong positive portfolio and it can only be created by representing Pakistan on different international forums.”

On October 5, 2024, Janjua represented Pakistan at Top Model of the Universe 2024 in Istanbul, Turkiye. Yoyo Teenarupakorn Muangmai, 29, of Thailand won the male category.

Runner-up to Muangmai was Martin Irengbam, 18, of India. The respective second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth runners-up were Furkan Ocak, 21, of North Cyprus, Brent Dalman, 22, of the Philippines, Celal Tugberk Kuzey, 22, of Turkiye, Slavko Didovic, 31, of Croatia and Abdullah Hijjo, 26, of Germany.

Janjua finished in the Top 10. He also won the Best in Formal Wear award.

Mister World 2024

On November 23, 2024, Janjua will represent Pakistan at Mister World 2024, making him the first ever Mister World candidate from the country. It is the 11th edition of the international beauty pageant for men.

In the same competition, Turner will represent England. On November 23, 2024, he and Janjua will compete for the title at the NovaWorld in Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận, Vietnam against 73 other candidates including Tomas Ghigo, 23, of Argentina, Kirk Bondad, 27, of the Philippines and Daryn Friedman, 25, of the United States.

Pakistan is not the only country making its Mister World debut. Also represented for the first time are Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Laos and Uganda.

Jack Heslewood, 32, of England won the 10th edition of Mister World. He was crowned at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines on August 23, 2019.
