Mario El Hajj, 29, of Beirut, Lebanon is a brand ambassador and an entrepreneur. He is skilled in business management, executive management, operational excellence, change management and personal development.
In January 2011, El Hajj graduated from Notre Dame Des Apotres in Beirut. From 2014 to 2017, he attended the Arts, Sciences and Technology University in Lebanon (AUL) in Beirut where he earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting and business management.
From November 2015 to January 2018, El Hajj was a purchasing manager at Le Charcutier in Jdeideh, Matn District, Mount Lebanon, Lebanon. In September 2018, he joined Medco Sal, a full product line petroleum company based in Beirut, as a branch manager.
Mister Lebanon 2024
On January 9, 2024, El Hajj competed against 14 other Mister Lebanon 2024 candidates at the Casino du Liban in Jounieh, Keserwan, Keserwan-Jbeil, Lebanon. It was the 23rd edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Lebanon’s candidates for international contests, which currently are Mister World, Mister International, Mister Grand International and Manhunt International.
It was El Hajj who won the Mister Lebanon 2024 title. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Abd El Waab Semaan, Peter Bouery, Alaa Saadieh and Mohamad Awada.
Fouad Al Zein won the Mister Personality award. Joseph Bou Rached was Mister Photogenic.
Perla Chelala hosted the coronation ceremony, which featured performances by Haifa Wehbe and Dylan Tatlis and aired on MTV Lebanon. The judges were Nidal Bcherawi, Elie Marouny, Paula Yacoubian, Najat Saliba, Rima Njeim, Badih Abou Chakra, Pamela El Kik, Rami Salamoun, Dr. Michel Helou and Dr. Ali Jarada.
El Hajj was crowned by Mister Lebanon 2023 Seif Al’walid Harb. After finishing in the Top 20 at Mister International 2023 in Khwaeng Khlong Chan, Bangkok, Thailand on September 17, 2023, Harb won Mister Grand International 2023 in Huelva, Andalusia, Spain on January 14, 2024.
Mister World 2024
As Mister Lebanon 2024, El Hajj will represent Lebanon at Mister World 2024. He will compete against more than 70 other candidates at NovaWorld in Phan Thiết, Bình Thuận, Vietnam on November 23, 2024.
This is the 11th edition of Mister World. Jack Heslewood of England won the 10th edition on August 23, 2019 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
Lebanon was represented by Jean-Paul Bitar at Mister World 2019. He finished in the Top 12.
If El Hajj wins Mister World 2024, he will be the first ever Mister World from Lebanon. The country’s highest placement in the competition was in 2003 when Assaad Tarabay was the first runner-up.
Phạm Tuấn Ngọc, 25, is the candidate of the host country of Mister World 2024. Also competing for the title are Tomas Ghigo, 23, of Argentina, Tarique Barrett, 22, of Jamaica, Joshua Benedict, 32, of Malaysia, Kirk Bondad, 27, of the Philippines and Daryn Friedman, 25, of the United States.
