Faith Torres, 23, of Gibraltar is a biomedical assistant and a model. She is an alumna of Westside School and Gibraltar Academy of Music and Performing Arts, which are both in Gibraltar, and Oxford Brookes University in Oxford, England, United Kingdom.
Torres is the youngest child of Maxi Torres Sr. and Audrey Provasoli Torres. Maxi and Audrey have three other children namely Maxi Torres Jr., Matthew Torres and Stephanie Torres Perez.
Faith is 5’11” tall. She speaks English and Spanish.
From Miss Gibraltar 2022 to Miss World 2023
On September 12, 2022, Faith graduated from Oxford Brookes University in Oxford with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science. On September 17, 2022, she was crowned Miss Gibraltar 2022 at the Alameda Open Air Theatre in Gibraltar.
On November 4, 2023, Faith turned 22. On March 9, 2024, she represented Gibraltar at Miss World 2023 and competed against 111 other candidates at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India.
Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic won the Miss World 2023 crown. Faith finished in the Top 40.
From Miss Gibraltar 2024 to Miss Grand International 2024
On March 22, 2024, Faith went to the John Mackintosh Hall Theatre in Gibraltar to crown her successor at Miss Gibraltar 2024. The judges were Juanma Castillo, Miss Supranational creative director Andre Sleigh, Miss Grand International 2022 Isabela Menin, Miss Supranational 2023 Andrea Aguilera, Miss Supranational 2023 third runner-up Emma Rose Collingridge and Miss RNB España Supranacional 2023 Lola Martínez Wilson.
Shania Ballester was crowned Miss Gibraltar 2024 and is expected to represent Gibraltar at Miss World 2025. Also crowned were Miss Supranational Gibraltar 2024 Phoebe Noble, the first princess, and Miss Grand Gibraltar 2024 Lauren Shephard, the second princess.
On August 15, 2024, Shephard gave up the Miss Grand Gibraltar 2024 title. On September 4, 2024, Faith was appointed Gibraltar’s candidate for Miss Grand International 2024 on October 25, 2024.
Gibraltar made its Miss Grand International debut in 2023. The territory’s representative Jaylynn Cruz was unplaced.
