Andrea Radford’s stardom from Miss Supranational 2019 to Miss Universe Guatemala 2024

Mónica Andrea Aguilar Radford of Barberena, Santa Rosa, Departamento de Guatemala, Guatemala is Julio Cesar Radford and Monica Aguilar‘s daughter. Andrea represented Guatemala in Miss Supranational and Miss Grand International.

Andrea earned her law degree from Universidad Rafael Landívar in Guatemala City, Guatemala and previously lived in Ciudad Real, Villa Nueva, Guatemala. On February 14, 2024, she turned 29.

On September 8, 2019, Andrea represented Ciudad Real at Miss Supranational Guatemala 2019. She competed against nine other candidates and won the title.

On December 6, 2019, Andrea represented Guatemala at Miss Supranational 2019 and competed against 76 other candidates at the Katowice International Congress Centre in Katowice, Poland. She finished in the Top 25.

Anntonia Porsild of Thailand won the title. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Yana Haenisch of Namibia, Jesica Fitriana Martasari of Indonesia, Janick Maceta of Peru and Gabriela de la Cruz of Venezuela.

In April 2022, Andrea was appointed Miss Grand Guatemala 2022. On October 25, 2022, she represented Guatemala at Miss Grand International 2022  and competed against 67 other candidates at the Sentul International Convention Center in West Java, Indonesia.

Isabella Menin of Brazil won the title. Engfa Waraha of Thailand, Andina Julie of Indonesia, Luiseth Materan of Venezuela and Mariana Beckova of the Czech Republic were the respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up.

Andrea was unplaced. She finished in the Top 20 in the sportswear and swimsuit competition.

On July 7, 2024, Andrea represented Departamento de Guatemala at Miss Universe Guatemala 2024 and competed against 22 other candidates at the Centro Cultural Cesar Brañas in Antigua. She won the title.

Runner-up to Andrea was Ana Gabriela Villanueva of Santa Rosa. The respective second, third, fourth and fifth runners-up were Zoochiel Dubón of Petén, Ximena Carrillo of Ciudad Capital, Melissa Morales of Comunidad de Sordos and Debbie Ruiz of the United States’ Guatemalan community.

On August 26, 2024, Andrea took to social media to announce her pregnancy. She decided to give up the title, which was given to Villanueva, who will represent Guatemala at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico.
