Beirut’s Aline Ghanem is Miss Earth Lebanon 2024

Aline Ghanem, 20, of Beirut, Lebanon is vying for the Miss Earth 2024 crown. She is a certified diver with a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting and an acting certificate.

On July 20, 2023, Ghanem was crowned Miss Photogenic International 2023 at the Miramar Hotel Resort and Spa in Qalamoun, Lebanon. On August 23, 2024, she was appointed Miss Earth Lebanon 2024.

Including Ghanem, a total of 81 women are competing for the Miss Earth 2024 title. A2Z and TFC will broadcast the coronation ceremony live from Okada Manila in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines on November 9, 2024.

This is the 24th edition of Miss Earth. It marks the first time Algeria and the United Arab Emirates are represented.

Sadjia Herbane, 19, and Noura Al Jasmi, 22, are the respective candidates of Algeria and the UAE. Also competing for the crown are Xhesika Pengili, of Albania, Irha Mel Alfeche, 24, of the Philippines, Rachadawan Fowler, 22, of Thailand and Cao Ngoc Bich, 25, of Vietnam.

On December 22, 2023, Drita Ziri of Albania won Miss Earth 2023 at the Vạn Phúc City Water Music Square in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Also crowned were Miss Earth-Air 2023 Yllana Aduana of the Philippines, Miss Earth-Water 2023 Do Thi Lan Anh of Vietnam and Miss Earh-Fire 2023 Cora Bliault of Thailand.

If Ghanem wins Miss Earth 2024, she will be the competition’s first ever titleholder from Lebanon. The Middle Eastern country currently has one Miss Earth placement, which is the Top 16 finish of Amale El-Khoder in 2007.
