Washington DC’s Bryce Armstrong from Miss Maryland Teen USA 2014 to Miss USA 2018

Bryce Ariel Armstrong of Washington, D.C., United States is an entrepreneur who loves baking and owns Cakes By Ariel. When she was a teenager, she competed in a beauty pageant in Maryland, USA.

Armstrong also represented the capital city of the U.S. in a national beauty pageant that selects the country’s Miss Universe candidate. On July 25, 2024, she turned 28.

On November 3, 2013, Armstrong competed against 85 other Miss Maryland Teen USA 2014 candidates at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Rockville, Maryland. The title was won by Mariel Pepin.

Armstong finished in the Top 16. Runner-up to Pepin was Taylor Dawson and the respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Nicolette Jennings, Maya Lewis and Sydney Wilson.

Dawson later became Miss Maryland Teen USA 2015. Pepin and Jennings met again at Miss USA 2019 as the representatives of Maryland and Florida, respectively.

North Carolina’s Cheslie Kryst won Miss USA 2019. Pepin and Jennings finished in the Top 10 and so did Cordelia Cranshaw who represented Washington, D.C.

On December 17, 2016, Armstrong competed for the Miss District of Columbia USA 2017 title at the Renaissance Downtown Hotel Congressional Ballroom in Washington, D.C. She was third runner-up to Kara McCullough, who later won Miss USA 2017 and finished in the Top 10 at Miss Universe 2017.

On December 16, 2017, Armstong was crowned Miss District of Columbia USA 2018. Cranshaw was the fourth runner-up then became Armstong’s successor the next year.

On May 21, 2018, Armstrong represented Washington, D.C. at Miss USA 2018 and competed against 50 other candidates at Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana, USA. She was unplaced.

Nebraska’s Sarah Rose Summers won the title while North Carolina’s Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Nevada’s Carolina Urrea were the respective first and second runners-up. Maryland’s Brittinay Nicolette finished in the Top 15 and Florida’s Genesis Davila finished in the Top 5.

Davila was unplaced at Miss World 2014. Summers finished in the Top 20 at Miss Universe 2018.
