Angelica Vaihere Domingo Soto, 24, of Viña del Mar, Chile is a fifth year medical student of the University of Valparaíso in Valparaíso, Chile. She is originally from Māhina, French Polynesia, France.
In 2019, Domingo graduated from Lycée Jean d’Alembert in Viña del Mar. She represented France in Miss Friendship International and Chile in Miss Supranational.
Miss Friendship International 2023
On October 27, 2023, Domingo represented France at Miss Friendship International 2023 at the Pengzhou Lyve Xingchen Tent Hotel in Pengzhou City, Chengdu, China. It was the fifth edition of the international beauty pageant that aims to strengthen cultural exchange and friendship between China and other countries.
Chin Zhu Zhi Ying of China won the title. She and Domingo competed against 46 other candidates.
The first runners-up were Julia Rodrigues de Castro of Brazil and Oliwia Magdelena Mikulska of Poland. Domingo, Sarah Horakova of the Czech Republic and Nong Thuy Hang of Vietnam were the second runners-up.
Miss Supranational 2024
On June 2, 2024, Domingo represented at Miss Supranational Chile 2024 and competed against 16 other candidates at the Teatro Caupolicán in Santiago, Chile. She won the title.
Paula Moreno of La Serena and Karina Perez Gres of Las Condes were the respective first and second runners-up. Patricia Mardones of Huechuraba finished in the Top 10 and was crowned Miss Tropical Internacional Chile 2024.
On July 6, 2024, Domingo represented Chile at Miss Supranational 2024 and competed against 67 other candidates at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Poland. France was not represented.
It was Harashta Haifa Zahra of Indonesia who won the title. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Jenna Dykstra of the United States, Justyna Zednikova of the Czech Republic, Isadora Murta of Brazil and Chanelle de Lau of Curacao.
Domingo was unplaced. Before the coronation night, she finished in the Top 20 of the competition’s talent portion.
