Two Oceanian beauty queens are vying for the Miss Supranational 2024 title. They are Janaya Reimers, 21, of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and Meghan Kenney, 29, of Ōhope, Whakatāne District, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.
On October 25, 2017, Kenney represented New Zealand at Miss Grand International 2017 and competed against 76 other candidates at the Vinpearl Convention Center, Phú Quốc, Vietnam. She was unplaced.
On April 22, 2023, Reimers was crowned Miss Global Australia 2023 at the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort in Hope Island, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
On January 18, 2024, Reimers represented Australia at Miss Global 2023 and competed against 68 other candidates at the Bayon TV Studio in Steung Meanchey, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She finished in the Top 13.
Miss Supranational 2024
On March 26, 2024, Kenney was appointed Miss Supranational New Zealand 2024, replacing Emma Gribble who gave up the title. On April 21, 2024, Reimers was officially appointed Miss Supranational Australia 2024.
On July 6, 2024, Reimers, Kenney and 66 other candidates will compete for the Miss Supranational 2024 title at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Malopolskta, Poland. Aleksander Sikora, Kataryna Koleczek and Nico Panagio will serve as hosts.
Miss Polonia 1992 Ewa Wachowicz, Miss Supranational 2022 second runner-up Nguyen Huynh Kim Duyen, Miss Supranational 2023 Andrea Aguilera and Mister Supranational 2023 Ivan Alvarez Guedes will serve as judges. They will be joined by Daria Marx, Edyta Folwarska, Robert Czepiel, Katarzyna Jonaczyk, Gerhard Parzutka von Lipinski and whoever wins Mister Supranational 2024 on July 4, 2024.
