Brenna Schaake, 29, of Fairbanks, Alaska, United States is Alaska’s Miss USA 2024 representative. She is an alumna of North Pole High School in North Pole, Alaska and the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho, USA.
Who is Brenna Schaake?
From 2008 to 2012, Schaake attended North Pole High School. From 2012 to 2017, she attended the University of Idaho where she earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations and image management.
From May 2018 to December 2020, Schaake was a membership development coordinator at the Greater Fairbanks Chamber of Commerce in Fairbanks. From December 2020 to April 2021, she worked there as a membership relations manager.
Schaake was unplaced at both Miss Alaska USA 2020 and Miss Alaska USA 2021. She later became second runner-up to Miss Alaska USA 2022 Courtney Schuman.
From April 2021 to May 2023, Schaake was a community relations specialist at Kinross Alaska in Fairbanks. In May 2023, she was promoted to external affairs supervisor.
On June 1, 2024, Schaake represented Fairbanks at Miss Alaska USA 2024 and competed against seven other finalists at Bartlett High School Auditorium in Anchorage. She won the title.
Runner-up to Schaake was Eagle River’s Amanda Ladermann. The second runner-up was Juneau’s Honour Miller-Austin.
When will Miss USA 2024 be crowned?
On August 4, 2024, Schaake will represent Alaska at Miss USA 2024. She will compete at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California, USA against 50 other candidates including Kaitlyn Widmyer, 28, of Idaho.
The coronation ceremony will be hosted Garcelle Beauvais, Keltie Knight, Patrick Starr and Miss USA 2022 Morgan Romano. The winner will represent the U.S. at Miss Universe 2024, which will be held at the Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico on November 16, 2024.
Miss USA 2024 will be crowned by Hawaii’s Savannah Gankiewicz, who was originally runner-up to Miss USA 2023 Noelia Voigt of Utah. Gankiewicz assumed the title after Voigt’s resignation.
