Clémence Botino, 26, of Le Gosier, Guadeloupe, France is an alumna of Lycée Gerville-Réache in Basse-Terre, Guadeloupe and Sorbonne University in Paris, France. She represented France in Miss Universe and Miss World.
From Miss Guadeloupe 2019 to Miss France 2020
On August 3, 2019, Botino competed against nine other Miss Guadeloupe 2019 finalists at the Palais des Sports in Gosier. She won the title.
Runner-up to Botino was Vilynnda Michel of Basse-Terre. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Danitzia Logis of Sainte Anne, Geraldine Pierre of Petit Bourg and Bety Thams of Capesterre-Belle-Eau.
On December 14, 2019, Botino represented Guadeloupe at Miss France 2020 and competed against 29 other candidates at Le Dôme in Marseille, Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. It was the 90 edition of the national beauty pageant that selects France’s Miss Universe and Miss World candidates.
Botino was crowned Miss France 2020. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Lou Ruat of Provence, Matahari Bousquet of Tahiti, Sophie Diry of Burgundy and Manelle Souahlia of Cote d’Azur.
From Miss Universe 2021 to Miss World 2023
On December 19, 2020, Botino crowned her successor Miss France 2021 Amandine Petit. On May 16, 2021, Petit represented France at Miss Universe 2020, competed against 73 other candidates at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, United States and finished in the Top 21.
On December 13, 2021, Botino represented France at Miss Universe 2021 and competed against 79 other candidates at the Universe Dome in Eilat, Israel. She finished in the Top 10.
On March 9, 2024, Botino represented France at Miss World 2023 and competed against 111 other candidates at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India. She finished in the Top 40.
