Nadia Ferreira’s stardom from Teen Universe 2015 to Miss Universe 2023

Born in Villarica, Paraguay, Nadia Ferreira, 24, attended the Universidad Americana in Asuncion, Paraguay. She represented Paraguay in Miss Teen Universe and Miss Universe.

Ferreira and Marc Anthony got married on January 28, 2023 at the Perez Art Museum in Miami, Florida, United States. She gave birth to their son Marco Muñiz Ferreira on June 12, 2023.

On February 6, 2015, Nadia represented Paraguay at Teen Universe 2015 at the Teatro Abril in Guatemala City, Guatemala. It was the fifth edition of the international beauty pageant for teenage girls.

Including Nadia, a total of 23 girls competed for the title, including Katherine Mata Buitron of Guatemala City and Vanessa Clara Bedoya of Miami. It was Dayanara Mishelle Peralta Loor of Guayaquil, Ecuador who won the crown.

Runner-up to Peralta was Estefania Franco Gonzalez of Sinaloa, Mexico. Maria Moren of West Island, Cocos Island was the second runner-up while Nadia and Bedoya were the respective third and fourth runners-up.

On August 31, 2021, Promociones Gloria officially appointed Nadia as Miss Universe Paraguay 2021. On December 12, 2021, she represented Paraguay at Miss Universe 2021 and competed against 79 other candidates in Eilat, Israel.

Nadia was runner-up to Harnaaz Sandhu of India. Lalela Mswane was the second runner-up while Valeria Ayos of Colombia and Beatrice Gomez of the Philippines finished in the Top 5.

Steve Harvey hosted the coronation ceremony with Carson Kressley and Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst. Miss Universe India 2015 Urvashi Rautela and Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere served as judges along with Adamari Lopez, Adriana Lima, Lori Harvey, Marian Rivera and Rena Sofer.

Mittenaere and Nadia reunited at Miss Universe 2023 as judges. Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo hosted the coronation ceremony at the Gimnasio Nacional Jose Adolfo Pineda in San Salvador, El Salvador on November 18, 2023 with Jeannie Mai and Maria Menounous.

Miss Universe 1977 Janelle Commissiong and Miss Oregon USA 1994 Denise White joined Mittenaere and Nadia in the selection committee. Avani Gregg, Connie Mariano, Giselle Blondet, Mario Bautista and Sweta Patel also served as judges.

Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua won the Miss Universe 2023 crown. Anntonia Porsild of Thailand and Moraya Wilson of Australia were the respective first and second runners-up.

Representing Paraguay, Elicena Andrada was unplaced. She was Miss Grand Paraguay 2021 second runner-up and Miss World Paraguay 2022 first runner-up.
