Yasmina Ismail Zaytoun (ياسمينة إسماعيل زيتون) was born in Tyre, Lebanon. She represented Lebanon in Miss Universe and Miss World.
Currently, Zaytoun is based in Kfarchouba, Hasbaya, Nabatiyeh Governorate, Lebanon. She is pursuing a master’s degree in journalism at Notre Dame University-Louaize in Zouk Mosbeh, Keserwan, Keserwan-Jbeil Governorate, Lebanon.
Zaytoun is 5’6″ tall. On October 26, 2023, she turned 21.
Miss Lebanon 2022
On July 24, 2022, Zaytoun represented Kfarchouba at Miss Lebanon 2022 at the Forum de Beyrouth, Beirut. She competed against 16 other candidates and won the title.
Runner-up to Zaytoun was Maya Aboul Hosn. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Jacintha Rached, Lara Hraoui and Dalal Hoballah.
Miss Universe 2022
On January 14, 2023, Zaytoun represented Lebanon at Miss Universe 2022 and competed against 82 other candidates at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, United States. She was unplaced.
R’Bonney Gabriel of the U.S. won the title. On November 18, 2023, she crowned her successor Miss Universe 2023 Sheynnis Palacios of Nicaragua at the Gimnasio Nacional José Adolfo Pineda in San Salvador, El Salvador.
Hosn represented Lebanon at Miss Universe 2023. She was unplaced.
Miss World 2023
On March 9, 2024, Zaytoun represented Lebanon at Miss World 2023 and competed against 111 other candidates at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India. Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic.
Runner-up to Pyszková. The Lebanese beauty queen was crowned Miss World Asia 2023.
Lesego Chombo of Botswana and Aché Abrahams of Trinidad and Tobago were crowned Miss World Africa 2023 and Miss World Caribbean 2023, respectively. They both finished in the Top 4.
Also crowned were Miss World Americas 2023 Leticia Frota of Brazil, Miss World Europe 2023 Jessica Gagen of England and Miss World Oceania 2023 Kristen Wright of Australia. Frota and Gagen finished in the Top 8 while Wright finished in the Top 12.
