Karolina Bielawska’s stardom from Miss Polonia 2019 to Miss World 2021

Karolina Bielawska, 22, of Łódź, Poland is Miss World 2021. She is Łukasz Bielawski and Agnieszka Zakrzewska-Bielawska‘s daughter.

Łukasz is a former Łódzki Klub Sportowy (LKS) Łódź president. Agnieszka is the dean of the Faculty of Organization and Management of the Łódź University of Technology (Politechnika Łódzka).

Karolina attended the Politechnika Łódzka. She is 5’10” tall.

On November 24, 2019, Marcelina Zawadzka and Mateusz Hładki hosted the Miss Polonia 2019 coronation ceremony at the Hotel Narvil Conference and Spa in Serock, Masovian, Poland. It was the 42nd edition of the national beauty pageant that selects Poland’s Miss World, Miss Earth, Miss Grand International and Miss Intercontinental candidates.

A total of 20 women competed for the crown. Five of them are from Łódź including Karolina.

The Miss Polonia 2019 title was given to Karolina. She also won the Miss Public Vote award.

Runner-up to Karolina was Aleksandra Kielan while Karina Nowak was the second runner-up. Borth Kielan and Nowak are from Silesia.

On March 16, 2022, Peter Andre and Fernando Allende hosted the Miss World 2021 coronation ceremony at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It was the 70th edition of the international beauty pageant based in London, England, United Kingdom.

A total of 97 women competed for the title. Representing Poland, Karolina emerged as the winner while Shree Saini of the United States and Olivia Yace of Cote d’Ivoire were the respective first and second runners-up.

Yace was Miss World Africa 2021 and Saini was Miss World Americas 2021. Also crowned were Miss World Asia Pacific 2021 Pricilia Carla Yules of Indonesia, Miss World Caribbean 2021 Emmy Peña of the Dominican Republic and Miss World Europe 2021 Anna Leitch of Northern Ireland.

Karolina is the second Miss World from Poland. The first one is Aneta Kręglicka, who won Miss World 1989 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Hong Kong, China on November 22, 1989.
