Candice Guivarch, 21, of Normandy, France has been crowned Miss Elegance France 2021. This makes her the official candidate of France for Miss Earth 2021.

Miss Elegance France 2021

The Miss Elegance France 2021 coronation ceremony took place at the Splendid de Dax in Dax, Landes, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France on June 26, 2021. Including Guivarch, 20 women competed for the Miss Earth France 2021 title.

Runner-up to Guivarch was Amélie Gigan of Réunion. Eléa-Loup Gautier of Aquitaine, Marie Victoire Schwerdel of Alsace and Solène Girard of Nord Pas de Calais were the respective second, third and fourth runners-up.

Candice Guivarch

Guivarch stands 5’11” and works as a model. After graduating from Lycée Michel Anguier in Eu, Normandy, she attended Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales du Nord (EDHEC), a business school in Roubaix, France, where she studied business administration.

The newly crowned Miss Earth France 2021 is of Middle Eastern descent. She speaks French and English.

If Guivarch wins Miss Earth 2021, she will be the first French woman to win the title. Currently, the European country has four placements in Miss Earth, which are all Top 16 finishes.

Miss Earth 2020

On January 25, 2020, Lea Lorens represented Ile-de-France at Miss Elegance France 2020 and competed against 19 other candidates at the Théâtre du Casino Partouche in Dieppe, Normandy, France. She won the title.

On November 29, 2020, Lorens represented France at Miss Earth 2020 and competed against 81 other candidates in a virtual coronation ceremony. She was unplaced.

It was Lindsey Coffey of the United States who won the title. Also crowned were Miss Earth-Air 2020 Stephany Zreik of Venezuela, Miss Earth-Water 2020 Roxanne Baeyens of the Philippines and Miss Earth-Fire 2020 Michala Rubinstein of Denmark.

Currently, France has four Miss Earth placements. Representing the European country, Anne Charlotte Triplet, Magalie Thierry, Sophie Garenaux and Alyssa Wurtz all finished in the Top 16 in the international beauty pageant in 2006, in 2009, in 2013 and in 2015, respectively.
