Roxanne Allison Agnaonao Baeyens, 24, was born in Baguio City, Philippines to Walter Baeyens of Brussels, Belgium and Julia Agnaonao Baeyens of Catengan, Besao, Mountain Province, Philippines. Walter was an information technology specialist and Julia is an environmentalist and a real estate broker.
Walter and Julia have two more children namely Michelle Baeyens and Jeff Anthony Baeyens. Julia played a mother in Julius Lumiqued‘s 2020 short film “Dad-aan Na“.
After graduating from Baguio City National High School, Roxanne went to Saint Louis University in Baguio City where she earned her bachelor’s degree in tourism management. On April 7, 2019, she won Face of Tourism Philippines 2019 at the SMX Convention Center Manila at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
On July 26, 2020, Baeyens represented Baguio City at Miss Philippines Earth 2020, competed against 32 other candidates and won the title. Amid the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the coronation ceremony was held virtually.
On November 29, 2020, Baeyens represented the Philippines at Miss Earth 2020 and competed against 81 other candidates in a virtual ceremony. She ranked third and was crowned Miss Earth-Water 2020.
It was Lindsey Coffey of the United States who won the Miss Earth 2020 crown. Stephany Zreik ranked second and was crowned Miss Earth-Air 2020 and Michala Rubinstein of Denmark ranked fourth and was crowned Miss Earth-Fire 2020.
On August 8, 2021, Baeyens will crown her successor at Miss Philippines Earth 2021. The coronation ceremony will also be held virtually.
