Amanda Charleen Obdam, 27, of Phuket, Thailand is an actress and a model. She is 5’7″ tall.
Obdam studied in the English language program at Satree Phuket School and the British International School, Phuket, which are both in Phuket. She was born in Phuket to a Dutch Canadian father and a Thai Chinese mother.
On August 15, 2015, Obdam competed against 21 other finalists at Miss Thailand World 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand and finished in the Top 10. The title was won by Thunchanok Moonnilta, then 22, of Chiang Mai, who was unplaced at Miss World 2015 in Sanya, China on December 19, 2015.
On June 26, 2016, Obdam represented Phuket at Miss Grand Thailand 2016 at Indoor Stadium Huamark in Bangkok and finished in the Top 10. The title was won by Faiic Supaporn Malisorn, then 22, of Songkhla, who became second runner-up to Miss Grand International 2016 Ariska Putri Pertiwi in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States on October 25, 2016.
On November 18, 2016, Obdam represented Thailand at Miss Tourism Metropolitan International 2016 at the Naga World in Phnom Penh, Cambodia and won the title. On October 10, 2020, she represented represented Phuket at Miss Universe Thailand 2020, competed against 28 other candidates at True Icon Hall in Bangkok and won the title.
On May 16, 2021, Obdam represented Thailand at Miss Universe 2020 and competed against 73 other candidates at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, USA. She finished in the Top 10.
Andrea Meza, 26, of Mexico won the Miss Universe 2020 crown. The respective first, second, third and fourth runners-up were Julia Gama, 27, of Brazil, Janick Maceta, 27, of Peru, Adline Castelino, 22, of India and Kímberly Jiménez, 24, of the Dominican Republic.
