Christine Angelica Dacera of General Santos City, Philippines was a flight attendant. She is Jose Nestor Dacera and Sharon Rose Faba Dacera‘s daughter.

From 2008 to 2013, Christine attended The Heritage Academy of the Philippines in Barangay San Isidro, General Santos City. From 2008 to 2013, she attended The Heritage Academy of the Philippines in Barangay San Isidro, General Santos City.
From 2013 to 2017, Christine attended the University of the Philippines (UP) Mindanao in Tugbok, Davao City, Philippines where she earned her bachelor’s degree in communication and media studies. She graduated cum laude.
In May 2019, Christine started working as a flight attendant at the Philippine Airlines (PAL). From Davao City, she moved to Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines.
On December 28, 2020, Christine had her last flight as a PAL flight attendant. On December 31, 2020, she called her mother, who was in General Santos City, and said she was going out to celebrate New Year’s Eve with friends and colleagues and in the evening, they occupied two adjacent rooms in City Garden Hotel in Makati City, Metro Manila.
At 12:34 a.m. on January 1, 2021, Christine had a video call with her mother. Later that day, the flight attendant was found unresponsive in an empty bathtub of the hotel room.
Christine was given cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) by the hotel’s security manager Peter Paul Poningcos before rushing her to Makati Medical Clinic where she was pronounced dead. She was 23.
Abrasions and hematomas were found on Christine’s legs and knees. The cause of death was declared ruptured aortic aneurysm.
Mutya ng Davao 2019
On February 18, 2019, Christine and 28 other applicants were selected as the official Mutya ng Davao 2019 candidates. Only 15 of them were chosen as semifinalists.
Christine failed to make the cut. On March 2, 2019, the 15 semifinalists competed during the coronation ceremony at the RMC Petro Gazz Arena in Davao City, which was hosted by Rex del Rosario and Resci Rizada.
The judges were Mutya ng Davao 1992 Sharon L. Quinonez and Miss Supranational Philippines 2014 Yvethe Santiago served as judges along with Carlo Lisandro L. Gonzales, Jayvee Tyron L. Uy, Lord Allan Jay Q. Velasco, Michael E. Dakudao and Roentgen F. Bronce. It was Clydel June Tabacolde who won the Mutya ng Davao 2019 title.
Runner-up to Tabacolde was Jeriza Uy, who was crowned Diwa ng Davao 2019. The second runner-up, Eula Cristine Napuli, was crowned Sinag ng Davao 2019.
Regine Anillo, We’am Ahmed and Ybonne Ortega finished in the Top 6. The other semifinalists were Charmaine Bless Shotwell, Danielle Abigail Apostol, Darlene Paula Dichoso, Jan Marine Rendon, Julia Nicole Culaste, Lady Lou Tabudlong, Louise Ann Canalija, Rhesam Mae Quindoy and Vanessa Coustley.
